I dunno,they were almost lost in WW2.Look at how far Japan,a small country
with no resources,achieved in the Pacific.
China may be able to do better in the future.

The joint India/China joint Naval operations have to be drawing some
interest. I wouldn't expect there to be any round eyes in Oz, or Nz, for a
post MAD sinerio.
