Looking for brush/trim for flap/spoiler handle slots
My original brush-like trim that 'covers' the slots inside the cockpit of my
LS-6 are worn down and I'd like to replace them. Anyone know of a source for these "brushes"? They're black nylon, about 3/4 inch wide, and serve to close the slots the controls exit from, yet still allow their unobstructed movement. Appreciate any leads. John Bojack J4 |

The stuff is called 'strip brush' or 'channel back brush' and is available from a variety of industrial supply outlets. Of course, finding exact replacements can be problematic, especially if you don't want to buy a 100-foot reel of the stuff. One place to start is the McMaster-Carr catalog. A search shows several strip brush products. Unfortunately, none are 3/4' wide: www.mcmaster.com A typical manufacturer of the stuff is: http://www.precisionbrush.com I hope that helps some. Thanks, and best regards to all Bob K. http://www.hpaircraft.com |

Thank You,
McMaster-Carr had them.... although the bristles are 1" wide.... I'll just cut them down to the 1/2" wide size. J4 "John" wrote in message ink.net...
