Default 1967 182K Opinions/Experience?

Hello Group,
I was wondering if anyone has any opinions/experience with a 1967 182 K. I
have my eye on a good clean used one for sale and I'm just looking for any
one who might have some insight into this aircraft.
Thanks in advance, Rob T. Ontario, Canada.

Yep, I have the K model.

Check the following for sure.

Engine
Prop
Engine mount for pits and corrosion
Firewall for wrinkles. Hopefully somebody else bent the original one and it
was replaced with the thicker firewall.
Main gear box for cracks
Check the innards of the wings and fuselage for corrosion. Buddy of mine
bought one that was all corroded and wouldn't pass annual.
Check the tail attach bulkhead as per the AD for cracks.

If these check out then buy it. Everything else will be nickles and dimes.
