On August 22, 1980, I made 53 tows at the now defunct Windy City Soaring just outside of Chicago. Two gentlemen were trying to amass PIC flights for their commercial certificates. Other big days: 7-12-81 34 tows 7-20-80 26 tows 5-14-80 29 tows Much younger with lots of energy. I couldn't do it today. PS Windy City was a truly wonderful place to be at and learn. Ron Ridenour ran a terrific operation. Very sad to see it go a few years ago. Tom J |
