Default Mitch Polinsky - on FG to Chadron, NE - Free Distance Record

Quick report from a hotel in Torrington, WY:

I went just past the Nebraska-Wyoming border from a remote start near Alamo, NV (a very long aerotow from Ely -- thanks James!). I then backtracked about 15 miles to land at the Torrington Municipal airport in Wyoming. According to my Garmin, it was 686 miles straight line distance, just a smidgeon over 1100 km, but nothing is official yet. This was my fourth attempt to do this, and I think I'm done for a while with straight out distance flights!

MP, you passed me twice on I-80 today. I was towing my new glider from OH to UT. Nice flight
