How to Buy a Glider Afordably, or Euro vs ContraFund
This reminds me of an instructor telling his sailplane racing student not to pull up and turn in the thermals if they aren't at least a 10 knotter....just keep flying straight thru it . Another sailplane pilot who doesn't have a coach turns into the thermal, and while not centered perfectly he does get a good " return " for his efforts and at the end of the race is even with the Pro coached pilot who kept flying straight .... So ...which one of these pilots learned a valuable lesson ? And which one of these lessons is more valuable ? just my 2 cents.... oops.... correction 2 cents plus 17% -- keithw ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via OziPilots Online [ http://www.OziPilotsOnline.com.au ] - A website for Australian Pilots regardless of when, why, or what they fly - |
