Great Service from Cobra
In this age of steadily declining service from our vendors, it is
refreshing to find a vendor that places customer service at the top of their priority list. My Cobra trailer is now 25 years old, and as can be expected, it has required replacement of some items, mostly involving the various air struts used on the trailer. When I needed a new air damper for my trailer tongue a number of years ago, Agnes Spindelberger hand carried the damper over from Germany to the U.S. (coming to the SSA Convention). When my trailer top support struts weakened 3 years ago, Alfred replied within 24 hrs to my email inquiry as to the required strut strength. Most recently, the lock assembly on my front hatch door failed on a road trip, leaving the hatch door swinging in the wind. Ulrike Reisse quickly shipped out a replacement lock assembly, and Agnes declined to bill for the part, replying "No invoice, it's service". What a great example of a customer focused organization. Great Service from Cobra
I agree Bob, their service is amazing.
I ordered a trailer for my B4 recently, and they were very helpful. Since they hadn't built a B4 trailer for a while, they were curious for my experiences with the trailer and where there's room for improvement. The trailer is excellent and I am very happy with it. Also, the level of service gives me confidence that should I need help in the future, I'll get it. Cobra was for example very honest about the hydraulic lifting devices, and their failure rate (about 15% dies in the first year) and that they compensate for that by replacing a faulty one for free. I was very satisfied to have bought a trailer at a company which is so customer focused. Sadly, my club experienced that other trailer manufacturers are not as helpful. Roel |

Great Service from Cobra
I agree too. When I bought my used glider 1.5 years ago, the keys were
missing and the hydraulic ramp jack was leaking. I called the Cobra service department, they told me where to find the key number and they did not accept that the jack was leaking on a 8 year old trailer. They send the replacement keys and a new jack for a nominal fee. Great product, great service. Ernst |
