Great discoveries are not announced with "Eureka!". What's usually said is
"Hummmmm... That's interesting...."

Jay,

And Happy Christmas to you.

You going to be there on Saturday?

Looks as if I'll be making the drive to DSM in one day, that day, so
may be able to make a quick stop to at least say hello.

BTW, if you happen to have a copy of _The Shepherd_ by Frederick
Forsyth, tonight is the night to read it aloud with family and
friends.

Warmest regards,
Rick

As I sit here, fat, dumb and happy, with a house (and hotel) full of family
from all over the country, it dawned on me that I would be remiss in not
wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

Many of us here have become good friends over the years, both "in-person"
and on-line, and this "cyber-family" of pilots and aviation enthusiasts has
provided me with many hours of entertainment and education. You have all
been generous in sharing your knowledge of flying and aviation in general,
and I have learned more here than in 10 years of hanging around FBOs and
airports.

Thanks for giving me a place to "hang out" with like-minded (and sometimes
NOT so "like-minded"!) folks who live, breathe, eat, walk, talk and think
about that most wondrous of addictions, AVIATION!

Happy Holidays!

I, too, must wish you all a Blessed and Merry Christmas. Being a
relative newby to the world of aviation, I thank you all for the ideas,
hints, warnings, and experiences that have helped me continue to learn
as a new pilot.
Hope Santa brings each of you a new Piper, Cessna, Mooney, Cirrus, or
whatever is on your Christmas list. Weather conditions are beautifully
clear VFR tonight here in Pennsylvania. Rudolph and his companions
should have not problems finding their way to your chimneys.

Although it already has been said by many, best wishes to all for a
blessed and merry Christmas as well as a prosperous and happy 2004.
