Default Fatal this afternoon

A couple miles north of Edwardsville, IL and 3 miles ESE of ALN (St
Louis Regional). Best info I have is a biplane. A pilot who witnessed
it said it was trailing smoke, impacted, went 30 yards and flipped.
Fire department had difficult time getting to isolated rural site
because of locked gates and weak bridges.
