Default Was 'Lawyers Flying Gliders' - How about Cops?

Here are several defenders of our Order:

There is a gliderpilot in US who became FBI Special
Agent after he was a gliderpilot, and he's from Tennessee
and flew alot at Chilhowee Gliderport; he is posted
somewhere else now, maybe Chicago; he has owned or
owns and flies an Asw-20.

There is a glider and airplane FAA designated Pilot
Examiner, CFI-I sel & multi, CFIG, towpilot etc active
with North Florida Soaring Society, Jacksonville Florida,
who has done a career in Federal law enforcement.
He also runs a business named Termikas importing Blanik
L13s etc; he is Shawn Knickerbocker. He owns and
flies an Asw-22.

In Hattiesburg Mississippi I know of a fireman who
drives or did drive all the way southeasterly past
Mobile Alabama to fly gliders with Coastal Soaring
Assn from time to time. His payrate kept him from
more activity and also the distance. There are no
gliderclubs in Hattiesburg Ms area, and a firemans
salary doesnt go far on the Hattiesburg payrate which
is unlike California or NewYork pay scales.

Dancing on clouds,

Keep it up!
