Default Dittel Service

Hi,

I have had some requests for feedback on how Dittel has been handling the
recall/upgrade of the Dittel FSG2T radios.

I sent 12 customer radios back to Dittel on December 7th and receive them
back today. There was no charge for the upgrades and repairs (there were
some minor control knob issues) or the return shipping. The customers paid
only for shipping to Dittel (UPS Express split 12 ways is not too bad), and
now shipping from my office to them.

It is a bummer that the radios needed to be sent back to Dittel, but I'm
very happy with the service Dittel provided. They turned around the 12
radios in 6 weeks (including the holiday break).

I remain a big fan of Dittel's radios and service.

Good Soaring,

I sent two of these units back to Dittel Dec. 20th with the US Postal
Service. Dittel received them January 7, and reports they have been
repaired and will be shipped back next week. Very fast Dittel, and
hats off to the USPS for shipping them for $35.00. However, the
tracking stopped working once they left the US, and there was no
insurance available.
