Default Amphibian Aviat Husky

1996 A-1 Husky. 2150 TTAFE. Wipline 2100A amphib floats. Currently on
wheels in hangar in Colorado (the floats fit under the wing). Well
equipped. Gyros, IFR GPS, radio, VOR/GS, transponder. All systems in
good working condition. Engine does not burn oil (1 quart every 12
hours, just like it always has), has good compressions, and no metal
in filter. With an engine like this, regardless of number of hours,
you will usually get at least 500 more trouble free hours. I would
rebuild it, as I fly it reguarly, but there is no need. I don't see
rebuilding a perfectly working engine as something that is necessary.
You won't have to either for quite somtime. The engine is already
depreciated as much as it can, so the hours you get are free, so far
as engine reserve is concerned. Trade A Plane has similar wheel
equipped Husky's at $90,000. New Wipline floats, installed are $49,000
(yikes!). I am valueing the installed floats (I will put it back on
Amphibs for the buyer), at $32,500, so the price is $122,500.

The Husky is well known as an excellent performer with it's 180 HP
engine and empty weight of 1200 lbs. It cruises at 120 knots on wheels
and 100 knots on floats. It will carry two people and has two baggage
compartments with 2 MORE baggage compartments in the floats. It is a
really good setup. I have been all over the US, Canada and Alaska with
this airplane and it has never let me down.

I can deliver this aircraft anywhere in the US, Alaska or Canada. I
can also give the buyer a very good checkout in the plane (I am a
CFI). Get ready for next spring with your Husky on floats. You will
love this airplane.
