Not sure when this was but ran across these photos today, at least the pilot

It seems the N40 series are unlucky...as this one is N40...A ...and

C182 jump plane, apparently dropped off three jumpers without incident but crashed while returning to the airport. The Boston Globe story says it was a 1957 model but the Cape Cod Times says '56.
