Kendrah Denny Local News - Friday, June 25, 2004 @ 10:00 After 41 years as the primary search and rescue aircraft in the Canadian Forces and having participated in thousands of successful recovery missions, the CH 113 Labrador helicopter is shutting down its engines and retiring from active service. To mark the distinguished career of the Labrador, as well as the transition to the CH 149 Cormorant, a national ceremony, hosted by 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron, will take place at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton this weekend.
