Announcing - 2019 Logan XC/OLC Mountain Flying Camp

We are excited to announce the opportunity to come enjoy and fly Logan, Utah in an OLC/XC Mountain flying camp the second week of August 2019. This camp is limited to 35 gliders and is best suited for more experienced XC pilots who have already had some mountain/ridge flying experience. We are about half way filled up so you still have an opportunity to get in!

Logan is an amazing, more technical soaring site that acts as a jumping point to fly into many Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah mountain ranges. Logan is a good size college town with dozens of excellent restaurants in town and many things to do for crew during the day. This fully organized soaring event comes with retrieve office, daily morning pilots' meetings with weather, optional daily task(s), OLC flight awards, and evening dinners/events.

Plan on lower stress launching - there are no restrictions on tow heights so you don't have to worry about being dropped off low on the mountain side and scratching like during a contest. GPS tracker registered with SSA tracking service is mandatory. PowerFlarm is encouraged but not mandatory. Pilots are welcome to come and fly early if you have flown Logan before. If not, a mandatory pilot's orientation meeting will be held the morning of the first event day.
