Default USAFM Friends Journal

The recent edition of the US Air Force Museum's FRIEND'S JOURNAL has an
amusing story about using early wooden P-38 drop tanks as sailboats by
those serving under General Chenault in China.

It describes using various other aircraft parts for for modifications.
One model utilized two drop tanks as a catamaran with four aircraft
seats.

(Got any similar tales you can share, Big John?)
