Default What's the distance record in a 2-33?

We just got back from our Safari to southern Oregon to fly the Abert
Rim. We had some logistical issues so we came back a little early, but
this was my best flight:

444.44km in a 2-33A. Does anybody know what the record in a 2-33 is?

I think its 444.45 km. I could be wrong, though.

Gary,

Your flight certainly looks like a contender. Last year I believe,
Sarah Kelly and another lady did a 300km flight in a 2-33 on the
ridge.

I noticed your flight has been credited to the Wind ******s
organization. My UK origins make me very curious about the origin of
this name.

Well, at our home airport here in Hood River, we rarely have much in
the way of thermals, mainly just ridge and wave, and we aren't really
accomplishing all that much while we're soaring, are we? Aren't we
basically just pleasuring ourselves? Hence the name...

It's an attempt at humor, which can be risky sometimes...
