UH-12B
Thinking of buying a OH-23B, the wood blades are bad just how hard are they
to find, and at what cost $$$. Also the OH-23 never had the airworthness cert issued, this should be the same as the UH-12B . I believe I can get the standard airworthness cert with a DAR and conformity with the original type certificate and data sheet list matching what is their. |

I doubt that you will find serviceable wood blades anywhere. However, some
people have successfully cut down Model 47 metal blades and capped them. Don't try to reverse the process, though. (No kidding. Some loon actually did this, with the result that first one patched tip departed the aircraft, and then the rest of the rotor assembly and transmission.) Getting a standard certificate for surplus is not as easy as it used to be. "brien" wrote in message ...
