Mustangs of Old, concluded - p-51 mustang.jpg (1/1)
Does anyone have a clue to the colours of this one? Most USAAC planes were
Olive Drab over Neutral Grey, some with a darker green in blotches around the edge of the wings and tail. I can't remember seeing anything like this before. It would make a nice model.... -- Claus Gustafsen Strandby Denmark mail me at See my modeling at www.gustafsen.nu "Mitchell Holman" skrev i en meddelelse ... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeg beskyttes af den gratis SPAMfighter til privatbrugere. I've seen similar schemes depicted on P-40's, and since this is an
Allison-powered machine the paint colors may be the same. P. On Sat, 30 Dec 2006 13:22:01 +0100, "Claus Gustafsen" wrote: Does anyone have a clue to the colours of this one? I believe it's US equivalents of the RAF dark green/dark earth/sky scheme.

Hello, JJ!
You wrote on Sat, 30 Dec 2006 16:57:18 +0100: J I believe it's US equivalents of the RAF dark green/dark earth/sky J scheme. There are some differences - the grey is darker in the early US scheme . . . |
