Does anyone have a clue to the colours of this one? Most USAAC planes were
Olive Drab over Neutral Grey, some with a darker green in blotches around
the edge of the wings and tail. I can't remember seeing anything like this
before. It would make a nice model....

I've seen similar schemes depicted on P-40's, and since this is an
Allison-powered machine the paint colors may be the same. P.

Start with this scheme, from an upcoming series.

I believe it's US equivalents of the RAF dark green/dark earth/sky scheme.

J I believe it's US equivalents of the RAF dark green/dark earth/sky
J scheme.

There are some differences - the grey is darker in the early US scheme . . .
