Cathering Eaglin was tragically killed in a car accident last night. Catherine was one of the brightest spots on this planet. Can't find words.

Words never come easy in a tragic event like this, I feel and understand your pain. Bob

Catherine was what every person should strive to be. Energetic, optimistic, and always willing to help when needed. The world is a bit darker without her here.

Who was she?Â* What had she done?Â* I had never heard the name before it
being posted here.

Still taking it in. Way too young and I was looking forward to watching her career and contribution to the sport.

She was active with the USA juniors and I got to know her at the PanAm in Canada this last summer where she had come up to be one of the leads for the line crew. She was professional and ran the line smoothly. She brought enthusiasm and joy to the sport.

I had forgotten all about it until I saw the PanAm photo of Catherine. She helped Marcy Capps retrieve me from a farm field in Dundalk ON on the next to last day of the contest. We all had a nice dinner on the way back. I did not know her well but she seemed too bright, energetic and generous to be gone so soon. My heart goes out to her parents and family.
