Try searching the on-line index at http://soaring.aerobatics.ws/Soaring_Index/ It doesn't have the article, but at least people will know what issue you need. If that's the Speed Astir, I do remember the tape goes on the top surface. -- Change "netto" to "net" to email me directly Eric Greenwell Washington State USA |

Althause did find that a turbulator on the bottom improves the climb somewhat. I have no info for the turbulator placement as per D. Althause. I did a quick run on the airfoil and it indicates it should be placed at 63%chord. Regards Udo |

I have a copy around here somewhere. I got it from Mike Shade at Grob in Blufton Ohio, his email is Todd 3S |

Sorry, I never did get a CS 77 to flight test. I think Mike Shade
should have good info about placing a turbulator on that sailplane. Dick Johnson |

I owned an ASTIR CS77 for several years
I can offer you an article from D. Althaus in aerokurier 198? (pdf-file in German, 200kb, with some pictures. He says 35% from rear edge for Noppenband. GROB had written to its customers 63% for Noppenband and 65% for Zick-Zack from the front. Sorry i lost this letter but i still have the drawing i made (pdf 8kb) when i placed my turbulator tapes.
