MC-130H, s/n 85-000012 Combat Talon II
lost 29 December 2004 due to failure of air force managment & command
to issue a NOTAM that the runway was under repair. aircraft landing at
night ran into the construction works. The nose gear and forward
undercarriage were sheared off and the left wing separated just
outside the no. 2 engine. The aircraft then caught fire. The crew
members egressed safely, but the four passengers required assistance
from ground personnel and aircrew.



That kind of thing can ruin your whole evening..........

Could have been a rental unit from Budget...if so, let's hope they got their
money back.
