Default FS: G Meter

Pioneer Instruments (A Division of Bendix Aviation Corp)
AN 5745-2, Mfg PN 3413-2D-A, SN 3646

MECHANICAL ACCELEROMETERS ("G" METER)
This instrument registers "G" forces acting on the
airframe during turbulence or aerobatic maneuvers.
One pointer gives a continuous reading, the other 2
indicate maximum positive and negative loads. Range
is from -5 to +12 Gs. A reset knob is provided. In smooth,
level flight the instrument indicates +1 "G".

This is a 3 1/8" instrument, pulled from my Cessna 172
(yes a 172 - the previous owner's install) to make room for
a GPS indicator. Unit worked fine in the aircarft, but I
admit I never testied it beyond +2Gs! It is in good condition
and all three hands reset back to +1G as they should.

I have little idea what this is worth. Make an offer.

An overhauled and certified mechanical accelerometer
from Aircraft Spruce goes for $289.95 plus shipping.

A Kollsman Instruments version of this same AN part number is
currently on E-Bay from an Australian seller. I'll see what that unit
sells for and accept a similar offer plus actual shipping costs.
