for those of you who havent looked, or didnt pay attention, take a
look at the end of the May 29 SSA E-News bulletin for my favorite
picture of the Cherokee, after a landout on a short triangle attempt
last summer. Out of the seas of 10 feet tall corn, emerged this
beautiful alfalfa field with no fence between it and the house with a
nice driveway and friendly farmers.

you may know Frank, but in the midwest we often have days with
beautiful skies and marginal soaring. this was one of those days. the
flight report can be found at www.knightglider.com/flightreports.htm
under the title "The 60:1 Cherokee (or how I flew a long way on a low
day)" "long way" is relative, I didnt really cover a lot of ground
that day. enjoy
