Default Worldwide glider fleet

Has anyone any idea what the worldwide glider fleet
is.

I vaguely recall someone having a stab at it some time
ago but does anyone have the numbers by country.

Even by continent would be a start.

TIA

Al

I know I saw the numbers somewhere about two years ago but can't find
them now.
This is to say: the list you want does exist.

Search for "Glider Sales for last 15 Years?" in this group and you will
find a list of gliders sold in the years 1988 - 2002...
....add old gliders and new ones!
Good luck
