Yes - that's one of my shots. After following the link, I am amazed that
the pictures there are the best that the ministry of defence could manage.
Doesn't say much for our 'official' photographers does it ?

Hasn't always been the case. In my opinion, some of the best aviation
photography I've ever seen came from the RAF during the 1930s to 1950s.
Some of those B&W formation shots of Furies, Spitfires, Hurricanes, Hunters
and Lightnings still make the ol' ticker go pitter-pat...

In fairness, those pictures are Qinetic rather than MoD shots.
Mind you, the British taxpayer is still paying (rather handsomely)
for them.
