What do you want to bet that the same thing is happening with 100LL?

So much for U.S. anti-trust laws.

You should read the article that you sent. According to the article a
case has been filed with the U.S. District Court in SF. That is the
U.S. anti-trust law right there.

The fix has been in since Bush was elected. And now with Bush's new
Chief Justice, there is little hope of the oil cartel being brought to
justice. And if that's not bad enough, we taxpayers are subsidizing
US oil producers while they reap record profits.

How is "rolling back subsidies" subsidizing oil companies (i.e.
"rollback" means stopping, not starting)? You guys are working in
sound bytes and not actually reading what you are posting.

The point is, that the oil companies have been receiving subsidies all
the while they are reaping record profits. That isn't right. It is
only recently since the tide turned in Congress that the House has
authored a bill to roll back those payments of our tax dollars to
profiteering oil companies (whom it now appears have been guilty of
price fixing).

Yup...keeping prices to retailers high will really help their sales, and
running their retailers out of business will help, too.

Here's a dollar: buy a clue.

What do you know about these subsidies. One man's "subsidies" is
another man's tax break for employing Americans, etc. I don't know
what the subsidides were based on.

(whom it now appears have been guilty of
price fixing).

What country do you live in? In the U.S. they are not guilty of price
fixing until so determined by a court of law. Being charged with
something does not equal being guilty (at least in the U.S.)
