Default GPS BlueTooth w datalogger (Earthmate Blue-Logger by DeLorme)

Hi all,

Has anyone found the data logging feature on this small BlueTooth GPS
receiver useful as a stand alone logger?
The file would have to be converted to IGC from what ever file the BT
GPS uses.
And can that converted file be validated for OLC USA national
submissions?
This is interesting to me as I would like to have an extra logger that
could easily be used by another club member to collect a local flight
file.
The Blue Logger seems like it might be an inexpensive GPS logger.
Some on eBay.
