CH yoke and peddals?
how well does the CH yoke and their peddals with the toe brakes simulate REAL
FLIGHT. Im thinking about getting some for FS2004. The only thing I dont like about the yoke, is the throttle is right behind the middle of the yoke (in the 3 lever version) is it hard to fly and adjust the throttle, prop and mixture @ the same time. And do the rudder pedals slider fore and aft and pivot for brake? Is the hat switch on the right of the yoke an issuse, becase in real life, you fly with your left and leave you right hand free for throtle. Thanx Trance Lewis age 12 |

Have Dad get you a yoke from these folks: http://www.flypfc.com
The CH pedals are very good. Dashi "Tlewis95" wrote in message ... how well does the CH yoke and their peddals with the toe brakes simulate REAL FLIGHT. Im thinking about getting some for FS2004. I've found the pedals to be very good. I have the USB pro pedals. I can't
speak to the yoke as I don't have one. Tlewis95 wrote: how well does the CH yoke and their peddals with the toe brakes simulate REAL FLIGHT. Im thinking about getting some for FS2004. can you use the USB pro pedals with a joystick with rudder accses and not the
yoke. And can you have the yoke and the joystick both working @ the same time so you do not have to change anything in the settings? |

I would like to have it so you dont have to fly an Extra 300, Pitts or a glider
and any other stick controlled plane with a yoke! |

Shh, don't tell my system as I can use a USB hub with CH products G. I
have a Fighter Stick, Pro Throttle, and Pro Rudders all connected to a USB hub with no problems whatsoever. It sounds like something is broken in your setup. Have you tried other peripherals in that hub? Did yoiu use external power on the hub or just power from the computer USB port? If computer power try plugging in the external power supply as the current draw of the devices may be too much for internal power. Jeffrey Voight wrote: You will find that with the CH products, you won't be able to use a USB hub (well, I can't, anyway, and I saw a similar post so, I'm assuming I'm not the only one). So, what you'll end up doing is pluggin the CH yoke and pedals into the USB front ports on your computer (assuming you have them or will be putting them in shortly) and when you want to fly the extra, you'll yank the USB connector to the yoke. If I were more nimble, I would yank the joystick and the gamepad whenever I fly the cessna because you'll find that you'll set your beer down on the throttle control on the joystick or, you'll prop your feet up on top of the gamepad and 'randomly change stuff' in the sim. This makes for unexpected emergencies (if they were expected, they'd be called "Drill"). Just my 2c. Jeff... I have a MS FF2, CH Yoke and the Pedals all plugged in and can assign any axis' I need within FS 2004 to any of them. It is a powered hub, if that makes any difference. Ed Medlin |
