Default 1000 hours in PW5 by Oz Pilot

Hi Kris and Charles, Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year, I have flown over 60 hours in PW-5 in the last 5 weeks, now only
need 67 more hours, for the 1000 in PW-5. I was at the Bendigo G/C
couple of weeks, ago and had about 40 hours in 7 flights, longest was 7
hr and 30 mins and the best height was 15,100 feet above the ground, I
had to come down with brakes, to JUST, beat the sunset.- That is one of
the clubs, interested in the PW-6, Phil Organ from there has been over
to NZ, to fly it, and he is very happy with it.While, I was there, I let
him and 3 others, fly my PW-5,they all enjoyed that also, (it may
help).I am going to Horsham for a 6 day Christmas Camp, then to Waikerie
( Jan 11 ) , for the Sports Nationals, so I should get close to the 1000
hours by then, Regards from Keith.

On my silver "long sit" first 5 hour flight in the
PW-5, I remember I stayed really high during the
whole flight and hit a lot of thermals.
My toes felt like frozen peas and my feet were
totally cramped up from whamming around that stupid
little popsicle stick rudder.

On my next flight, I wore a ski bib and battery
powered socks. I went into the Avenal 7-eleven to
get 2 D size batteries for the socks. I got some
funny looks since it was 100 degrees outside.
I faked crossed eyes and a facial tic so
I wouldn't get any questions...

In related news, David Blaine spent over 1000 hours in a box over the Thames river.
