Default Open and 18 Meter 3rd Day # 711 reporting

We flew today, Open Class and 18 Meter Class had the same turn area. 3
Open Class pilots got around with SS, R. Tabery winning the day over
DB, then H4, G. Willat. 18 Meter had 5 get around with 7T, yep, that
young guy Chris, winning the day, over DJ, next was CW, C. Woods,
followed by 711. The Regional Sports had 2 get around(maybe more).
A high cloud deck moved in, causing the landouts, most got back to
Albert Lea, but never got to the 3rd turn. The task for Opens and 18 M
was a TAT with #47, #8, and #36 as turns, each had a 20 mile radius.
Time was 3 hrs. Winning speed was 58 mph plus for 18M. Open was 56
mph.
Scores and more of the story will be up at the SSA website
shortly.....retreive desk was busy........

Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe, # 711 reporting.
