"Thunderbolt! Reborn "Exclusive Special Restored Edition from Military
Arts Pictures (C2010) - restored video from an archival print with
more than 5 minutes of additional content & directional stereo sound
in broadband. "Thunderbolt!" Chronicles the exploits of the P-47
Thunderbolt pilots of the "Fighting Cocks" of the 65th Fighter
squadron, 57th Fighter Group, plus new footage of 64th FS "Black
Scorpions," 66th FS "Terminators" and Free French P-47s. Based on the
island of Corsica off the coast of the Italian boot, the 57th FG flew
from behind the enemy's flank. As part of "Operation Strangle," they
continuously attacked highways, bridges, ammo dumps, railroads and
just about anything that moved to choke off the flow of supplies to
the Axis front line. Our new digitally restored print is a huge leap
in quality with great new additional content.

"The B-58 Hustler Wins the Bleriot Trophy" NEW! A pilot once said of
the Convair B-58, "She looked like she was breaking the sound barrier
just sitting on the tarmac." At Mach 2+, the B-58 wasn't just one of
the fastest bombers of her day, she was one of the fastest military
planes period. In 1930 the French aviation pioneer Louis Bleriot
established a prize for the first aircraft to average over 2,000 kph
for thirty minutes-- the Louis Bleriot Speed Trophy. For 30 years,
that prize lay unclaimed by any aircraft. See how supersonic B-58
Hustler "Firefly," commanded by Major Elmer E Murphy, flying near
Edwards AFB in May 1961, took the prize

"Winged Artillery" Exclusive -- reconstructed audio & color corrected
video. Nine 75mm cannon firing B-25Gs of the 48th Bomb Squadron, 7AAF,
based on Apamama in the Gilbert Islands, conduct a hair raising tree
top level strike on the Japanese air base on Mille. Also features
amazingly well preserved and very rare color footage of daily life of
air crew and ground personnel stationed on the islands. As a bonus,
you'll watch Sea Bees using heavy equipment to transform these hard
won tropical atolls into fully functioning air bases and ground crews
maintaining the Mitchell's massive canons.

"FLAK" is a fascinating World War II training film for pilots on the
theory and practice of evading antiaircraft fire. ("FLAK" is a German
acronym for Fliegerabwehrkanone = "Flyer Defense Cannon." ) The
specifications, capabilities and targeting methods of a variety of
German and Japanese AAA pieces are discussed as well as both high and
low altitude evasions tactics . Well illustrated with charts,
animations and combat film.

"Huey in a Helicopter War" (NEW!) was produce Bell Aircraft during the
Vietnam war to show the essential part played by their "Huey" UH-1
Iroquois Helicopter in nine different of rolls, including recon & fire
direction, transport & supply, a variety of assault gunships
configurations and medical evacuations. The film uses dramatic combat
footage to illustrate the theory, tactics and practice of Huey
operations, including from the cockpit views of airborne assaults and
the establish and development of LZ's.

"The True Glory from D-Day to the Elbe" (Restored) tells the
breathtaking story of the Allied sweep across Northern Europe, seen
through the lenses of hundreds of combat cameramen from the USA,
Canada, France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia,
Norway, Great Britain and captured German footage. Legendary American
Writer-Director Garsin Kanin teamed up with Oscar Award Winning
Director Carole Reed and 3 time Oscar Winning writer Paddy Chayefsky
to produce this Academy Award Winning winning film. "The True Glory"
takes you through the northern European Campaign, starting with
invasion preparations, the D-Day landings, the capture of Cherbourg,
fighting in Caen, the Falaise breakout, the race to liberate France,
Operation Market Garden, French resistance Operations, retaking
Antwerp, the Battle of the Bulge and the crossing of the Rhine and the
final campaign into Germany to defeat the Nazis.
