Could someone clarify something for me? I flicked into a documentary
last night about SAC and saw what looked like a B-47 with 4 drones
mounted under the wings. I've never seen a B47 with this configuration.
I don't seem to be able to find any specific reference apart from the
YDB-47E, but that seems to be carrying a much larger missile.

Probably Crossbows, Andrew. Near Mach 1 speed. The '47 could carry four
of them. (Check Wright-Pat museum).
