Why is it okay to slam Bush for his Guard service while praising Kerry for his Navy service? I didn't know you could get an early out to run for office. Talk about : privilege! I think at that point the entire military was drastically overstaffed and pathetically grateful to anyone who volunteered to leave. I'm not sure what "privilege" means in this context. Is the implication that somebody else would not have been permitted to leave for the same reason? |
