No - the fighter ace was I Kuznetsov -
http://www.elknet.pl/acestory/kuznetsov/kuznetsov.htm The carrier was more properly named 'Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov' - usually shortened to 'Admiral Kuznetsov'. It is named after Nikolai G. Kuznetsov :- http://admiral.centro.ru/start_e.htm Ken Drifter Bob wrote: Is that named for Kuznetsov the WWII fighter ace?
