Default GNII and globalsat receiver

For some reason GNII is not turning on or recognizing the receiver. It
worked originally but has stopped. The receiver is working and
generating data strings (checked this with the provided software).
When starting GNII it says it found and is initializing the GPS. When
the Nav screen comes on it flashes that GPS is turned off or cables
unhooked. I have tried hot resets and completely wiping it and
reinstalling everything but no luck. Have a call in to Paul but
thought I'd try out here as well. Thanksl

Just a guess, but it may be that you aren't detecting the 4 or more
satellites needed to get a 3D location. I have a hazy memory of seeing
"GPS Wait" when I was having GPS antenna problems. If you're
experimenting indoors, try moving the GPS outside to let it get a
higher signal from all of the available satellites.
