Default Declaring a flight in WinPilot to the Volkslogger

Chuck:
Jerry has been very helpful to me over the past years. Even called me
from Spain to help with what turned-out to be an operator malfunction.
Ooops.

What is your configuration? How are they connected? In some
confugurations (B50) there needs to be a Flt/Dec. switch which in Dec.
mode cuts the B50 out of the circuit.

Have you set up the VL download button in WP? Did you power reset the
VL so it will be in PC mode? One thing I have noticed is that it takes
a while to communicate. At first I thought it wasn't working but just
wasn't gining it engough time.

If you can't get help from Jerry you might give Richard at Craggy Aero
a call. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Makes great cables,
interconnects, etc. He made a special cable for me in less than 24hrs.
which got me flying for an important weekend.

I've can't declare a flight from the Win Pilot program
to my
Volkslogger. I have followed the manual procedure to
the letter.

Also I can't seem to load a flight from the Volkslogger
to my
WinPilot program. I've tried deleting the WinPilot
trace so there
is no conflicting trace on the IPAQ. The WinPilot will
save my
flight as a WP log but it won't save it as a secure
Volkslogger
trace.

By the way has anyone found Jerry Plaszowiecki
of WinPilot any help? I've asked for his help twice.
I have found his return messages are absolutely no
help.

Maybe I'm expecting to much.
