Default Krosno Roll Rate??

We are building a simulator, using a Krosno cockpit on a motion platform.
Our expert on the motion platform is selecting the actuators, and the speed
varies with the price, so we are going to try to buy only as much power as
we need. Accordingly, we need to know the approximate roll rate of the
Krosno. Does anyone have this information or an educated guess??

I have a few hundred hours in that type, but I hate to give you a number.
Call Barry Aviation at (561) 624-3000 and ask to talk to either Julius or Tim
Sr. Either of them will be able to give you a good answer.

Soaring Magizine Feb 93
Dick Johnson Flight Report
Aileron control was good and 45-to-45 degree rolls required
only about 5 seconds to perform at thermaling airspeeds.

By the way, consider adding hand controls to your simulator. Here is the
best picture that I can find:
http://www.freedomswings.ca/gallery2...pg&W=600&H=435 It is a
simple series of notches to hold the spoiler in position and a hand lever that
connects to the left rudder cable. If you don't have those cables in your
cockpit, you could connect the lever to the left rudder peddle with a light rod.
