I want to know how gate 4 suddenly became gate 317. Why not gate 9
3/4?

I wondered about that, myself. But then again, I've always wondered by the
post office sets up 5-digit house numbers on streets with 4 homes.

Anyone know if it's accessible by GA aircraft?

From Google:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?C3EC139F6

In a nutshell, one of the FBO's at Dulles (Signature) will provide a shuttle
to the museum.

(By the insistence of Margy and Rutan, the LongEZ should be now properly
resting on the hockey puck.)

I'm curious... What's the significance of the puck?

First off before the nit-pickers jump on me, it is a Vari-EZ, not a long. The
various Rutan-esque Lawn Darts when they are parked actually retract the
nose wheel. The point that actually rests on the ground is a real hockey puck
embedded in the fiberglass.

Sounds like Rons says it ain't so...

Does anyone else find it appallingly ironic that many (most?) of the big
aviation museums are not accessible by aircraft?

Here is a trip for you to plan, Jay.
Hamilton Ontario, Canadian Warbird Heritage Museum.
Motel 8 at the east end of the field with a decent pub type restaurant
next to it. FBO at the west end with a Tom Horton's next to it.

I think he meant Tim Horton's and I believe it's a donut shop.
