I'm not aware of any Bestmann replicas but perhaps you are thinking of the
Aeropony, which is close.

At one time, Shadin, the fuel flow compter people owned the project but they
had a change of heart. Last I heard, there were a small quantity of original
Buckers available and a much larger quantity of bubble canopied, Continental
O-145 powered Egyptian license built examples. There were plans to make
these available in kit form or finishedand flying.
