'tis nothing to do with two nations separated by language, etc.

In any dialect of English a double negation cancels itself out. My
teachers taught me that was a grammatical crime long before I moved to
the UK and I bet American teachers would say exactly the same.

The most recent issue of AOPA Pilot magazine has an article on the Post
Mills, VT airport including an item on Peeto pants complete with picture
of the maker in his glider. Perhaps you should try to contact him directly.

My wife took some light weight pants that I use for fly fishing and put
snaps into the crotch. So, when I get in, I just unsnap some, fix the
catheter and go fly. Get home and re-do the snaps.
