I don't believe there is an STC for a Tost hook on a C-182 but a Form 337 field approval for one has been approved. Contact Steve Northcraft for details.

Victoria Aircraft Maintenance has a Canadian STC for the TOST hook. They upgraded six 182's for the Air Cadet League.
The emergency pull handle is above the throttle....very nice
