Dang, you are right. As a new NASCAR fan, I should have thought of that, too.

Now THAT'S funny!

Come to think of it, if I turn the realism settings all the way down, I
can fly my Slowdowner from HFD to Keflavik on 52 gallons, in perfect VFR
all the way. If I get tired, I'll simply hit "P" and take a nap. I'll
wake up, clean up, and land fresh as a daisy!

Why didn't I think about it sooner? Make sure you tell NW, no more
special permits, stacks of paperwork, or special ferry tanks!

Thanks, Larry!

Every time I fly one of my real airplanes, I get bugs on the windshield
and wings. I'm confused about this because MSFS doesn't have bugsplats on
the screen.

What is wrong with my real airplanes? How do I avoid getting bugs on the
windshield? There must be something wrong with reality, because it doesn't
happen in MSFS. Yet, it seems to happen every time I fly in the summer.

I know that it can't be happening, because my monitor never has any bugs
on it after I play MSFS. So, what is wrong with reality?

I don't know about bug splats, but my monitor has coffee spurts...

You need a bra over the windshield and wings:

You're a big help!

You could link MSFS to a teletransporter and beam yourself wherever you were
flying too. That's a high-priced option to MSFS, but, what the hell - unlike
MX, you work for a living, so you're LOADED!!

Forget coffee spurts on the monitor. I bet MXS's has... Oh, never
mind.

I don't know about bug splats, but my monitor has coffee spurts...

Best post I have seen as a rebuttal in a long time. *L*

This is not a bug in MSFS, it's a bug in Windows. Unfortunately,
Microsoft was unable to install a sufficient number of bugs in its
Windows operating system, mainly due to hardware and software
limitations. Therefore, whenever application software is running,
Windows removes the bugs from the application program and installs them
in the operating system. This helps your application run bug free, and
helps build Windows' reputation as the most bug infested softare in the
world.

Unfortunately, a bug in the bug code prevents the bugs bugging you.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.

The bugs you get on the windshield are just perfect simulations including
the goo and all. Real bugs are magnetically drawn into the real MSFS
software. Microsoft has eliminated some of them, but enough still find their
way there to make the real MSFS almost a manic experience. Sometimes they
get their act together in an uncoordinated way and virtually uncage the
virtual ball and do other things that upset whole virtual newsgroups. I
guess you're better off with the simulated bugs.
