THis vario goes back to the late '70s and was from Ismail days. The
50S was triple range dual dampening the 50D was dual range (x1 and
x.5) dual dampening so the 50H must be just dual range or was it dual
dampening?? THere will be one switch down for off with keyway up.
The AU-22 (not AV) was the later of the two main audios he did and did
not have a mute switch in the middle. One knob was vol and the other
was the threashold between the beep beep of lift and continuous sound
of sink. The internal speaker was 100ohm and NOT 8ohm etc. ONLY use
100ohm replacement speaker. I hate the sink tone. The audios had 2
cheap unbranded transistors which always fail with time. There were
just 1 sheet on each instrument as instruction. THe vario should be
Rev15 (or rev 14) for reliability - Rev 13 always would leak. It needs
a std winter .45lit flask which goes to "C" and TE goes to "S" Raulf
the designer runs a firm called Cambridge Flow Inc I believe in the
Boston area. Good luck!!!!
