Default KR-2 fuse for sale

I'm posting this for a friend, His KR-2 wind were destroyed in a hanger fire
and he is selling the rest. I can be contacted through this NG or at

FOR SALE: Rand Robinson KR2S. Airworthiness 2003. No wings (destroyed in a
fire). Fixed gear tail dragger. In process of repairing tail section, canopy
and cowling due to damage incurred in a landing incident. Subaru EJ22 fuel
injected direct drive engine, new Ed Sterba propeller. Dual control sticks,
cleveland brakes, wheel pants, nice VFR panel, intercom, strobes, cabin
heater, 9 gallon header tank, had wing tanks (5 gal ea) with transfer pump.
Back up battery system. Engine starts and runs excellent. This aircraft
cruised easily at 160mph (4gph auto fuel), top end 176 mph verified by GPS.
Flew and handled very well. Aircraft will be sold disassembled as parts and
will need to be re-certified. Very repairable project, excellent
workmanship. Cost to build $14,800 and 8 plus years of labor. Open to
realistic offers. If you would like to get into a nice KR and save yourself
6 years or more of work this is a great deal for you! Aircraft located in
northern Minnesota.

And hangar fire....not hanger To tell you the truth, I didn't even
notice "wind" until you pointed it out.

Sorry about your friend's loss. I hope he gets a good price and puts
the money to building something nice.
