Default Butterfly Avionics Vario v1.0.6 (1347) and later acceptable for USA competitions

The waiver and requirements (below) will appear shortly on the SSA website.

1. The presence of the instrument must be made known to the CD or Scorer prior to the first contest grid.

2. Prior to the first contest grid, the prohibited functionality must be disabled using the vendor's lockout mechanism for the entire period of the contest.

3. Prior to the first contest grid, the instrument version information and disablement must be shown to and verified by the CD, Scorer or their designee.

Failure to comply with these requirements may be subject to a contest penalty.

Nonsense. Big Brother was checking my panel for an artificial horizon or
T&B every contest day, just before I took off, over 35 years ago. They
also checked my turnpoint cameras every contest day. It's a contest -
get used to BB looking over your shoulder.
