Club Seminar Follow-up and Regional Organization Startup Session

To all:

On November 15th, 2003 at St. John's UCC in Lansdale, PA, a meeting will be
held to lay the groundwork for a Regional Club and Commercial Operators
Organization. The meeting will start promptly at 10am and last until 5pm or
so. We plan to recap the spring Club Seminar session, and then have a
strategic planning session. SSA Regional Directors and a representative from
PASCO on the West coast will be in attendance to guide us and help with a
smooth startup. This is your golden opportunity to get in on the ground floor.
Anyone and everyone, club member or commercial operator, from the northeast or
not, is invited. This will be a very important meeting and your input is
needed, so please plan to attend.

In addition to strategic planning, this meeting will provide the introduction
to others who have similar club or commercial operator issues that you can both
work out, or who will have already resolved issues and will share their
experiences with you. Tools to help grow your business, to grow soaring, and
to avoid some common pitfalls will be areas to be covered by the organization.
This is the start of new positive thinking about the soaring community within
the Northeast and however far folks travel from.

Its an informal gathering - comfortable clothes, a lunch break where more
discussions can be held, and a chance to meet others with lots of experience in
clubs, commercial operations, and soaring in general. If you missed the spring
session, now is your chance to get caught up and, to help plan how to make
improvements for the soaring community and make lots of new friends.

Location and directions are as follows. St. John's is located in the
heart of downtown Lansdale, which is just north of Philadelphia. The church is
located at the corner of Main Street and Richardson Avenue. Main Street is
Route 63/PA.

From PA Turnpike (Northeast Extension)-
After the tollbooth turn left onto Sumneytown Pike (PA 63). Continue straight
on this road until you come to an intersection with a traffic light, Commerce
Bank and a McDonald's on the corner, approximately 2 miles. Turn left.
Continue on this road, Valley Forge, until you come to an intersection with a
traffic light and the Lansdale Florist on the corner (about 1 mile). Turn
right onto Main Street. Continue for 3 blocks. The church is on your right,
500 West Main.

From Route 309-
Route 309 intersects PA 63 in Montgomeryville. If you are heading toward
Philadelphia, turn right onto PA 63. If you are heading toward Quakertown,
turn left onto PA 63 (watch for left turn instructions). Follow PA 63 for
about 4 miles to the heart of Lansdale. We are about 3 blocks on the left past
the railroad tracks.
