Default Re;Gliding in Myanmar

Nione of the replies was quite what I had in mind!
The website concerned was NOT a history of Burma website,
it was in fact an up to date site advertising sports
etc that are available here. Gliding was mentioned,
but with no details. I'm well aware of US AND British
ops here inWW2, but I was actually after something
a bit more up to date than 'what did you do in the
war daddy'!!

As to flying here, well I'm already doing that as a
Balloon pilot for a passenger operation here in Bagan-and
very nice it is too. We know exactly who are friends
are, as the companies been here long enough to know
who's trustworthy and who's on the other side. Its
like any country that you're a guest in and not resident
in- you keep your head down and don't get involved
in the politics. Spraying Opium poppies is not exactly
non-controversial and the US human rights record is
hardly glowing at the moment........

To get back on track, I would like anyone with up to
date knowledge about gliding here to get in touch...Thanks!
