I have used IPaq+Winpilot with a Colibri, It should use the same task
declaration.

What is your issue ?

You are joking. Do you think that LX will make something work with winpilot
or vice versa for that matter. I am in the same boat I bought the upgrade
from 7000 to 7007. I know that Winpilot will transfer the task declaration
but not the task to LX7000. Does anyone know definitively (Not the ejit that
referenced the LX site) if Seeyou mobile will do this trick via lxconnect.
I can confirm that LXmobile works with the 7007 no problem.
The obvious advantage of entering the task via PDA and transfering it to the
logger has obviously not occurred to LX who want us all to use seeyou and a
laptop

I know for sure. In addition to task declaration ConnectMe and
ConnectLX will also upload Turnpoints and Tasks to all LX devices. This
makes all the difference because you cannot use the declared task in LX
5000/7000/7007 for navigation. You need to select it as a task to be
able to use it in the Task page in LX 5000/7000/7007. Meaning, the
procedure to navigate and declare a task is following:

1. Use ConnectMe or ConnectLX to upload the correct Waypoints and Tasks
to LX (in any of the several supported file formats) which include the
task you are going to fly
2. Select the task manually in LX. It will be declared and used for
navigation at the same time

You are joking. Do you think that LX will make something work with winpilot

I don't know about vice versa, but LX would certainly be delighted if
their hardware was supported in all software out there in a similar
fashion as it is in SeeYou, SeeYou Mobile, ConnectMe, ConnectLX and LX
Mobile.
