Default Diamond clarification help please

A 'Diamond straight out to a goal' attempt (presumably
of 300 kilometres) will, I am afraid, result in an
'own goal' only - as far as a Diamond Goal claim is
concerned.

Please check section three of the FAI sporting code
- downloadable from the FAI web site.

This explains everything most elegantly - and with
authority.

Stan.
